Aya Nakumara – ‘Baby’ (Single) Review

Stepping into the new year 2023, Aya Nakumara has come strong with new single from her up & coming album DNK ‘Baby’.

Aya Nakumara is a Malian pop singer well known in France and for her Francophone music, some may even recognise her from popular tune ‘Djada’ which still goes crazy at the dance till this day.

It seems as though 27 year old French superstar has done it again, with her new single ‘Baby’ which implements sounds of French Afrobeats intertwined with contemporary R&B its bound to be a hit.

This now leads me into the visuals for this song, which seems to be influenced by early 2000’s hip-hop & R&B music videos giving the fans a nostalgia feel. Directed by YC, who seems to have not miss the mark with this one.

We also can’t fail to acknowledge Aya’s unique vocals that entices you for more.
